Composition:

Each 1 gram of cream contains:

Fluocinoloneacetonide 0.01%

Tretinoin 0.05%

Hydroquinone 4%

Properties:

  1. hydroquinone 4% – blocks melanin synthesis and evens out skin tone and color;
  2. tretinoin 0.05% – exfoliates, rejuvenates and protects the skin;
  3. fluocinoloneacetonide 0.01% – relieves inflammation and heals the skin, gives a quick result in 8 weeks;
  4. FDA-approved formulation with 3 active ingredients.

Indications:

Melanofri Topical Cream is indicated for the short-term intermittent treatment of moder to severe facial melasma when sun-protection

Method of administration and dosage:

@ wash your face gently with a mild cleanser; @ apply the cream once a day at night, at least

30 minutes before bed;

@ apply a small amount (about the size of a pea or 1/2 centimeter or less) of the cream on the tip of your finger;

@ apply a thin layer of cream evenly to hyperpigmented areas;

@ also include about 5 millimeters of normal skin surrounding the affected area and rub in the cream lightly. The cream should be well absorbed. If you can still see it, then you are using too much of it;

@ after, be sure to wash your hands;

@ avoid using other products on the treated area for at least 1 hour after application; @ if dry, apply moisturizer;

@ the result will be visible in 1-4 weeks;

@ treatment time 2-4 months or as directe your doctor;

@ a second course is possible only after consulting a doctor.

Contraindications:

pregnancy and lactation;  acute inflammatory (including eczematous) skin lesions (dermatitis, seborrhea, etc.); rosacea;  skin lesions (wounds, burns, etc.);  photosensitivity;  rectal diseases;

Addison’s disease;  allergy to sulfites or to any of the components of the cream;  hypersensitivity to any of the components of the cream (discontinue use and consult a doctor if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat).

Precautions:

-Avoid products that can dry out or irritate the skin, such as abrasive cleaners, scrubs or peels, alcohol-based products, benzoyl peroxide, soaps;

– exposure to ultraviolet radiation as well as heat, wind or cold should be avoided. If exposure cannot be prevented, then sunscreen (SPF 30 or more) and protective clothing must be worn. After stopping treatment, you must still protect your skin from sun damage;

-If you are burned, stop using the cream until your skin has healed;

-Avoid contact with mucous membranes of the nose, mouth and eyes. If spilled, rinse with warm water.

Side effects:

In controlled clinical trials, the most frequently reported side effects are: redness; peeling; burning; dryness and itching at the site of application.

Stop use and tell your doctor if you have any of the following side effects: darkening of treated skin; severe skin irritation; blistering; oozing, an increase in the area of the lesion or the formation of a crust painful burning or swel of the skin; any type of breathing problem; irritation to the eyes, nose, or mouth.

Storage method:

At a temperature not higher than 30 degrees.
