Composition:

10 ml of solution contains:

salicylic acid – 2.0 g, lactic acid – 0.5 g, polidocanol 600 – 0.2 g;

Auxiliary components:

dibutyl phthalate – 0.10 g, ethyl cellulose –

0.55 g, acetone – 6.65 g.

Properties:

Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent that causes desquamation and destruction of the epithelium. It has a weak antimicrobial activity.

Lactic acid affects the keratinization process, promotes the chemical destruction of warts.

Polidocanol has a local anesthetic and sclerosing effect.

Indications:

Warts, calluses, keratinization of the skin, genital warts, hyperkeratosis syndrome in psoriasis (including palmar-plantar).

Method of administration and dosage:

Collomak is intended for external use only!

For application, use a brush (shaving brush) inside the bottle cap.

Collomac should be applied to the affected skin, one drop 1-2 times a day. In adults, the daily dose should not exceed 2.0 g of salicylic acid, which approximately corresponds to 10.0 ml of Collomac solution; in children, the daily dose should not exceed 0.2 g of salicylic acid, which approximately corresponds to 1.0 ml of Collomac solution. When using the drug in children, do not treat several skin areas at the same time.

Duration of treatment: as a rule, after 3-4 days calluses and warts can be removed. When using the maximum permissible daily dose (10.0 ml in adults and 1.0 ml in children), the duration of treatment should not exceed 1 week.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or other components of the drug.

Children up to age 1 year.

Should not be applied to birthmarks, hairy warts, genital or facial warts.

Should not be used in case of impaired renal function (renal failure).

Precautions:

Collomac should not be applied to mucous membranes, in particular contact with eyes should be avoided. If this happens, rinse the area with plenty of water.

Close the bottle tightly after use!

Collomac should be applied accurately, avoiding contact with surrounding healthy areas. To protect the surrounding tissue, it is recommended to use a protective paste, ointment, petroleum jelly or cream if necessary.

Side effects:

With the external use of salicylic acid preparations, side effects should usually no expected, even in the case of an unintentional

short-term excess of the indicated maximum dosages. Local skin irritation is possible. In this case, it is usually sufficient to simply remove the drug.

Storage method:

At a temperature not higher than 30 degrees.

Packaging:

10 ml of the drug in a brown glass bottle with a screw cap made of polypropylene with a seal and a brush (shaving brush) for applying the drug.

One bottle with instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box.
