Properties

Combined preparation with antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory action for external use.

Triamcinolone acetonide - GCS, has anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.

Gramicidin - an antibiotic for external use, is active against Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., and some anaerobic bacteria.

Neomycin sulfate is an antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group with a broad spectrum of action. It is active against gram-positive microorganisms: Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus spp.; gram-negative microorganisms: Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Escherichia coli.

Nystatin is an antifungal antibiotic of the polyene group. By binding to sterols in the cell membrane of fungi, it disrupts its permeability, which leads to the release of the main components of the cell. Active against Candida albicans.

Precautions

The drug should not be applied to the skin around the eyes.

With prolonged therapy, in cases of impaired skin integrity, the theoretical risk of developing the ototoxic and nephrotoxic effects of neomycin should be taken into account.

Consideration should be given to the possibility of developing the ototoxic effect of neomycin in predisposed patients, including those with a history of damage to the VIII pair of cranial nerves associated with the use of aminoglycosides.

With the development of superinfection, including fungal infection, the drug should be discontinued immediately and the therapy should be reviewed.

Use in pediatrics: When using the drug in children on extensive skin surfaces or under occlusive dressings, it is necessary to keep in mind the possibility of suppressing the function of the adrenal glands.
