Composition:

Minoxidil — 5%.
Excipients: purified water, propylene glycol, Tween‑80, cetylpyridinium chloride.

Product Description:

Foam for external use, intended for the treatment of androgenic alopecia in men and women.
Minoxidil stimulates hair growth in patients with hereditary hair loss at the early and moderate stages.

Indications for Use:

Androgenic alopecia in men and women.
Focal hair loss (may also be prescribed by a physician for other forms).

Method of Administration and Dosage:

• Men: apply 1 g (½ capful) of foam twice daily (morning and evening). Maximum daily dose — 2 g (100 mg minoxidil).
• Women: apply 1 g (½ capful) of foam once daily. Maximum daily dose — 1 g (50 mg minoxidil).
• Apply only to dry scalp, do not wash off for at least 4 hours.
• First signs of effect: in men after 2–4 months, in women after 3–6 months of regular use.

Contraindications:

• Damage to skin integrity.
• Scalp dermatoses.
• Concurrent use of other topical medications on the scalp.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Age under 18 or over 65 years.
• Hypersensitivity to minoxidil or other components.
• Drug Interactions:
  Topical corticosteroids, tretinoin, and dithranol may increase minoxidil absorption.
• Effect on Driving:
  If headache, dizziness, or eye irritation occurs, refrain from driving or operating machinery.
• Overdose:
  Application to large areas or exceeding the recommended dose may cause systemic effects.

Precautions:

• Use only on healthy scalp skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, arrhythmia, liver or kidney insufficiency.
• Discontinue use if chest pain, rapid heartbeat, edema, or severe skin irritation occurs.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Local: itching, rash, dermatitis, redness, peeling, inflammation.
Systemic: headache, dizziness, nausea, tachycardia.
Possible temporary increase in hair shedding during the first 2–6 weeks.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated.
Minoxidil is excreted in breast milk.

Storage Conditions:

Pressurized container, flammable.
Do not puncture or heat above 50 °C.
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C, away from fire and out of reach of children.
