AIG Minoxidil Lotion 2% for Women 100 ml

Composition:

Minoxidil — 2%.
Excipients: ethanol, propylene glycol, water.

Product Description:

Topical lotion designed for women with androgenic alopecia.
Stimulates hair growth, slows down hair loss, and is recommended by trichologists for thinning hair at the crown.
Visible improvement is usually seen after 3–4 months of daily use, with maximum effect achieved after 7–11 months depending on hair condition and genetic predisposition.

Indications for Use:

Androgenic alopecia in women.
Noticeable thinning of hair in the upper scalp area.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

• Apply 1 ml twice daily (morning and evening), total daily dose — 2 ml.
• Use the supplied applicator or pipette, gently massage into dry scalp starting from the center of the affected area. 
• Do not wet hair for 3–4 hours after application. 
• Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Contraindications:

• Age under 18 years.
• Hypersensitivity to minoxidil, ethanol, or propylene glycol.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Hypertension.
• Scalp damage (psoriasis, sunburn, inflammation, infection).
• Use with occlusive dressings or other topical medications.
• Do not apply to shaved scalp.

Precautions:

• Apply only to healthy scalp skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Discontinue use if irritation, swelling, or hypotension occurs.
• Consult a physician if adverse reactions persist.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Temporary increased hair shedding in the first 2–6 weeks (due to transition from resting to growth phase).
Local reactions: itching, redness, irritation.
Possible changes in hair color or structure.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated.
Minoxidil is excreted in breast milk and may pose risks to the infant.

Storage Conditions:

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C, out of reach of children.
