Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Zinc oxide 29.75 mg (equivalent to Zinc 23.9 mg)
- Cupric oxide 3.8 mg (equivalent to Copper 3 mg)
- Niacinamide 100 mg
- Riboflavin 10 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to Pyridoxine 10 mg)
- Thiamine mononitrate 21.77 mg (equivalent to Thiamine 20 mg)
- Cyanocobalamin 25 mcg
- Ascorbic acid 600 mg
- Calcium pantothenate 27.2 mg (equivalent to Pantothenic acid 25 mg)
- d-α-tocopheryl acetate 45 mg (equivalent to 45 IU Vitamin E)
- Folic acid 400 mcg.
Excipients:
Croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium carbonate. Coating: Opadry Orange (titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow 6, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc.).
Description:
Vitamin and mineral combination formulated as a nutritional therapeutic adjunct in conditions associated with inadequate absorption, increased requirements, restricted dietary intake, or recovery from illness or surgery.
Provides essential water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant support in situations where normal dietary intake or absorption is insufficient.
Indications:
Used as a therapeutic nutritional adjunct:
- In conditions with suboptimal absorption of vitamins/minerals (malabsorption, IBD, fistulae, short bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease);
- When concomitant medications reduce vitamin/mineral absorption;
- During convalescence (anorexia, cachexia, post-chemo/radiotherapy);
- Post-surgery when nutrition is inadequate;
- In patients on special or restricted diets (renal diets, therapeutic weight-reducing diets);
- In food intolerance and exclusion diets.
Dosage and Method of Administration:
- Adults and children ≥14 years: 1 tablet daily.
- Usual duration: 2 weeks (may be prolonged if medically required).
- If symptoms persist after 7 days, clinical reassessment is needed.
- Administration: oral use; swallow without chewing with a small amount of water.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to active substances or excipients
- Levodopa monotherapy (without carbidopa)
- Haemochromatosis or other iron storage disorders.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Consider intake of vitamins from supplements or other medicines.
- Patients under medical supervision or taking other medications should consult a physician.
- Caution in recurrent kidney stones (vitamin C may cause oxalate crystalluria).
- Caution in Leber’s disease due to possible worsening with excess cyanocobalamin from other sources.
- Oral vitamin B12 forms are not indicated for B12 deficiency due to malabsorption.
- Vitamins B1, B2, C, and niacinamide may interfere with lab tests.
- Thiamine affects uric acid (phototungstate).
- High doses affect theophylline measurement.
- Ascorbic acid alters: redox-based tests in blood, urine glucose (false results), stool occult blood (possible false negatives).
Side Effects:
- Gastrointestinal: Abdominal/gastrointestinal pain, Constipation, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Nausea
- Immune system: Allergic reactions, Anaphylactic reactions, Hypersensitivity manifestations: rash, urticaria, facial edema, pruritus, wheezing, flushing, cardio-respiratory distress, anaphylactic shock
- Nervous system: Headache
- Renal/urinary: Orange-yellow urine discoloration (harmless; due to riboflavin).
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Storage:
Store below 30 °C, in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
