Composition:

Glucosamine sulfate — 500 mg (per capsule).

Product Description:

Joflex is a product that influences cartilage metabolism.
It replenishes the natural deficit of glucosamine, stimulates the synthesis of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid in synovial fluid, increases permeability of the joint capsule, and restores enzymatic processes in synovial membrane cells and cartilage.
It supports sulfur fixation during chondroitin sulfate synthesis, facilitates normal calcium deposition in bone tissue, slows degenerative processes in joints, restores joint function, and reduces pain.

Indications for Use:

• Primary and secondary osteoarthritis.
• Scapulohumeral periarthritis.
• Osteochondrosis.
• Spondylosis.
• Chondromalacia of the patella.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

• Take 1 capsule three times daily with meals.
• Course recommendations:
  Typically taken in long courses, as the effect develops gradually.
  Course length: 3–6 months.
  Repeat courses: 1–2 times per year, depending on joint condition and physician’s advice.
  The therapeutic effect usually appears no earlier than 1–2 months of regular intake.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to glucosamine.
• Phenylketonuria (if the product contains aspartame).

When combined, glucosamine increases absorption of tetracyclines and decreases absorption of penicillins and chloramphenicol.
