Composition:
Isopropyl alcohol, menthol, camphor.
Auxiliary components: water, plant extract (Ilex
paraguariensis), carbomer, triethanolamine, silicon dioxide, methylparaben, glycerin, propylene glycol, dyes E 102 and E 133.
Properties:
Biofreeze gel has a strong cooling effect on the skin. Used for local anesthesia.
Indications:
To relieve muscle pain, joint pain, with dislocations and sprains.
Mode of application:
Designed for adults and children over 6 years old. It should be applied, without rubbing, a thin layer on the affected areas several times, but no more than 4 times a day. You will quickly feel the pleasant, cooling effect. After use, wash your hands thoroughly with cold water. The gel has a non-greasy texture and does not stain, it is quickly absorbed.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the listed ingredients.
The gel should not be used under airtight dressings. The bandage should be applied after a few minutes, when the gel is completely absorbed into the skin.
Precautions:
Use the gel only as directed by these instructions or as recommended by your healthcare professional. Biofreeze gel is not intended for internal use. If swallowed, contact a doctor or hospital immediately. Contact with eyes and / or mucous membranes should be avoided. Do not apply Biofreeze to irritated, damaged or sensitive skin. If local rash or irritation develops after using Biofreeze gel, stop treatment immediately. If the pain gets worse despite using the gel, symptoms last longer than 7 days, or the pain goes away but returns after a few days, stop using Biofreeze Gel and see your doctor to determine the cause of the pain.
Not for use by pregnant or nursing women.
Drug interaction:
Biofreeze gel should not be used in
combination with other ointments and creams that have a warming effect. You should consult your doctor regarding the use of the gel when taking medication.
Side effects:
Biofreeze gel can cause hypersensitivity reactions (including shortness of breath) in sensitized patients.
