Composition:

Each 1 ml contains:

Paracetamol 100 mg

Inactive ingredients:

 propylene glycol,glycerin,citric acid,sodium citrate, sucralose,raspberry flavor,purified water

Properties:

Analgesic-antipyretic.  It has an antipyretic and analgesic effect.  It blocks COX-1 and COX-2 mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the centers of pain and thermoregulation.  In inflamed tissues, cellular peroxidases neutralize the effect of paracetamol on COX, which explains the almost complete absence of an anti-inflammatory effect.  Since paracetamol has an extremely small effect on the synthesis of prostaglandins in peripheral tissues, it does not change the water-electrolyte metabolism and does not cause damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Indications:

Pain syndrome of mild and moderate intensity of various origins (including headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, algomenorrhea; pain from injuries, burns).  Fever in infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Dosage and administration:

Children:

Up to 3 months: 10-15 mg/kg/ every 6-8 hours.

From 3 months to 1 year: 10-15 mg/kg/ every 4-6 hours.

1-6 years: 180 mg-240 mg every 4-6 hours.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol, severe liver dysfunction, severe renal dysfunction.

Carefully:

Mild to moderate renal failure, mild to moderate liver failure, benign hyperbilirubinemia (including Gilbert’s syndrome), dehydration, hypovolemia, anorexia, bulimia, cachexia (insufficient supply of glutathione in the liver), viral hepatitis, glucose deficiency  -6-phosphate dehydrogenase, alcoholic liver disease, alcoholism, old age, pregnancy, breastfeeding period.

Warnings and precautions:

-If paracetamol does not improve or the headache becomes persistent, you should consult a doctor.  With ongoing febrile syndrome against the background of the use of paracetamol for more than 3 days and pain for more than 5 days, a doctor’s consultation is required.

-The use of paracetamol has an impact on laboratory tests in the quantitative determination of glucose and uric acid in plasma.

-During long-term treatment, it is necessary to control the picture of peripheral blood and the functional state of the liver.

-At the first appearance of a rash or other hypersensitivity reactions, the use of paracetamol should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

-If a patient has acute viral hepatitis, it is necessary to stop taking paracetamol.

-Do not take simultaneously with other drugs containing paracetamol.

Side effects:

At therapeutic doses, paracetamol is generally well tolerated.

-Rarely – allergic reactions (including skin rash, itching, urticaria.

-Often – insomnia, anxiety, periorbital edema,tachycardia, chest pain, peripheral edema,dyspnea, abnormal breathing, pulmonary edema, diarrhea, constipation, dyspepsia, bloating, muscle spasms, trismus, oliguria
