Each 3 ml solution contains:
Diclofenac Sodium 75mg
Auxiliary components: acetylcysteine, benzyl alcohol, mannitol, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol, water for injection.
Properties:
Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.
Indications:
With exacerbations of rheumatism: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, vertebral pain syndromes, ankylosing spondylitis, spondyloarthritis, extra-articular rheumatism; renal and hepatic colic; acute attacks of gout; pain, swelling and inflammation after injuries and operations; migraine attacks.
Mode of application:
For intramuscular administration, no other method of administration of the solution is allowed. The injections are injected deep into the muscle, in the outer quadrant of the buttock. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. Adults 1 ampoule 1 time per day. For colic and pain syndromes of other origin – 2 times a day (with an interval of 2 or 3 hours). More than 2 injections a day are not allowed. The maximum duration of therapy is 2 days. If necessary, you can continue treatment with tablets or rectal form (in the form of suppositories). The total daily dose of diclofenac in this case should not exceed 150 mg.
Contraindications:
Childhood; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, aspirin; severe heart, hepatic, renal failure; bradycardia, severe arterial hypotension; stomach bleeding; period of pregnancy, lactation.
Precautions:
With the development of hepatic diseases, administration should be discontinued.
Patients with disorders of the heart and blood vessels during therapy should be under the
supervision of a physician. Weak and elderly patients, patients with low body weight should use the minimum therapeutically effective dose. Before prescribing the medication, it is necessary to undergo a clinical examination for patients with peptic ulcers; with a history of intestinal bleeding; with liver and kidney damage, including a history; with high blood pressure. With bronchial asthma, hay fever, acute and chronic respiratory pathologies, in patients with polyps in the nose, taking the drug can cause asthmatic attacks. Treatment of these conditions is symptomatic.
Side effects:
In very rare cases, abscesses may occur at the injection site. Other side effects: headaches, dizziness; vertigo; tachy- / bradycardia, arterial hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure; painful sensations in the abdomen, vomiting, cramps, flatulence, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia; fluid retention in the body, edema; rash, Quincke’s edema; reactions at the injection site.
