ViscoPlus 1% 2 ml, 1 syringe

Composition:

• Active ingredient: Sodium hyaluronate 1% (20 mg / 2 ml)

Pharmacological properties:

• Restores the viscoelastic properties of synovial fluid
• Provides lubrication and cushioning of the joint
• Reduces pain
• Improves joint mobility
• Has an anti-inflammatory effect due to stabilization of the synovial membrane

Indications for use:

• Symptomatic treatment of pain in osteoarthritis of the knee joint, especially in patients:
– with an ineffective response to NSAIDs
– in the presence of contraindications to systemic analgesics
– after unsuccessful use of physiotherapy

Method of administration and dosage:

• Intra-articular (intra-articular) administration
• Usual dose: a single injection of 2 ml into the knee joint
• If necessary the course can be repeated, as a rule, no more than once every 6 months
The injection should be performed by a doctor who has experience with intra-articular injections.
