Composition: 

Sodium chloride, potassium chloride, trisodium citrate dihydrate, glucose (dextrose), zinc supplement (fortified), sodium saccharine, sodium benzoate, citric acid, flavoring agents.

Product Description: 

Sanso ORS is a ready-to-use oral rehydration solution designed to restore fluids and electrolytes lost due to diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.
Fortified with zinc, it helps decrease the duration and frequency of diarrhoea.
The orange flavour improves palatability, and the syrup form ensures convenient dosing with reduced contamination risk.

Indications for Use:

Oral correction of fluid and electrolyte loss in infants, children, and adults.
Treatment of dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea or gastroenteritis.
Prevention of dehydration during heat exposure or excessive sweating.
Support for normal electrolyte balance.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

• Ready-to-use syrup form.
  
• Administer small amounts frequently.
  
• If vomiting occurs, wait 10 minutes and re-administer.
  
• Adults and children: dosage adjusted according to fluid loss.
  
• Use under medical supervision.

Contraindications:

Severe dehydration requiring intravenous therapy.
Hypersensitivity to any component.
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or electrolyte imbalance.

Precautions:

Not a substitute for medical care in cases of persistent diarrhoea or severe dehydration.
Monitor for signs of worsening dehydration (reduced urination, lethargy).
Do not boil or dilute the syrup.
Use only as directed under medical supervision.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Rare: mild nausea or vomiting.
