Composition:
Active ingredient:
Aescin 40 mg.
Inactive ingredients:
Lactose monohydrate, Povidone, Magnesium stearate, Sucrose, Talc, Acacia, Titanium dioxide (E171), Colloidal anhydrous silica, Polyethylacrylate, Methacrylic acid (1:1), Macrogol 8000, Sodium hydroxide, Carmellose sodium, Triethyl citrate, Silicon antifoaming emulsion, White beeswax, Carnauba wax.
Description:
Reparil is an anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous herbal preparation.
The active substance, aescin (a triterpene glycoside), acts on the vascular wall, reducing capillary permeability, inhibiting fluid extravasation, and promoting resorption of oedema.
It increases capillary resistance, improves microcirculation, and helps relieve inflammation.
Indications for Use:
- Post-operative or post-traumatic swelling;
- Haemorrhoids.
Dosage and Method of Administration
Dosage:
- Initially: 1 tablet three times daily.
- Maintenance or mild cases: 1 tablet twice daily.
Administration:
Take after meals with a small amount of liquid.
No specific limit is set for duration of treatment.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
- Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose or fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not take Reparil.
Precautions:
- May enhance the action of anticoagulants.
- Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after careful benefit-risk assessment, particularly in the first trimester.
- Does not impair the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Side Effects:
Uncommon:
Gastrointestinal discomfort.
Very rare:
Allergic reactions such as urticaria.
Discontinue use and consult a physician if any adverse reaction occurs.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Due to limited data, use during pregnancy (especially in the first trimester) and breastfeeding only when necessary after medical consultation.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children.

Carton box containing 4 strips each with 10 enteric-coated tablets, and a leaflet.
