Prinorelax 30 mg 20 capsules

Composition:
Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride – 30 mg (in the form of prolonged-release capsules)

Pharmacological properties:
• Acts on the central nervous system, reducing skeletal muscle tone
• Does not have a direct effect on muscles or neuromuscular synapses
• Relieves pain caused by muscle spasms and injuries
• Used as short-term maintenance therapy (together with rest, physiotherapy)

Indications for use:
• Acute muscle spasms in:
o muscle strain
o back and neck pain
o cervical and lumbar osteochondrosis

Method of administration and dosage:
Prescribed only to adults and children over 15 years of age under the supervision of a physician.
• Usual dose: 15–30 mg per day (in 1–2 doses)
• Extended-release drug (as in this case – 30 mg): taken once a day
Maximum duration of therapy: no more than 2–3 weeks, since the effectiveness of longer-term use has not been proven.
