Pistinon 60 mg 20 tablets
Composition:
Active substance: Pyridostigmine bromide — 60 mg
Pharmacological properties:
Pyridostigmine is a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It slows down the destruction of acetylcholine in synapses, enhancing and prolonging the effect of acetylcholine on neuromuscular transmission. This leads to improved muscle strength, especially in myasthenic syndromes.
Indications for use:
• Myasthenia gravis (including generalized forms)
• Postoperative atony of the intestine and bladder
• Antagonist of the action of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants (in a hospital setting)
Method of administration and dosage:
The dosage and duration of use are determined for each case under the direct supervision of a physician.
The average dose is usually 10 tablets of the drug per day, divided into doses to achieve maximum relief. In severe cases, the dose is 25 tablets per day, and in mild cases, only 1-6 tablets are taken per day.
