Composition (per 1 tablet):

• Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride — 5 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

• Cyclobenzaprine acts on the central nervous system, reducing involuntary skeletal muscle activity and decreasing muscle spasms.
• It does not directly affect muscles or neuromuscular junctions but regulates muscle tone by suppressing spinal reflexes.
• Also has a mild sedative effect, promoting relaxation and pain relief.
• Usually used in combination with physiotherapy and rest to speed up recovery after muscle injuries or inflammations.

Indications for use:

• Muscle spasms accompanied by pain
• Pain in the back, neck, shoulders
• Complications of osteochondrosis, radiculitis, myositis
• Mechanical injuries of soft tissues with muscle tension.

Dosage and administration:

Adults:
The doctor determines the dose depending on the condition. The commonly used doses are:
For adults with muscle tension: initial dose is 5 mg up to 3 times a day, which can be increased to 10 mg up to 3 times a day (depending on patient response), treatment duration up to 3 weeks.

Children (15 years and older) with muscle tension:
Initial dose is 5 mg up to 3 times a day, which can be increased to 10 mg up to 3 times a day (depending on patient response), treatment duration up to 3 weeks.
