Composition: 

Active ingredient: Baclofen 10 mg.

Product Description: 

Mylobac contains baclofen, a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant and antispastic agent.
It is a structural analog of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and reduces muscle spasticity by inhibiting reflexes at the spinal level.

Indications for Use:

Relief of spasticity due to multiple sclerosis.
Spinal cord injuries or diseases causing spasticity.
Reduction of flexor spasms, clonus, muscular rigidity, and associated pain.
Not indicated for rheumatic muscle spasms or Parkinson’s disease.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Adults: Start with 5 mg orally three times daily. Increase by 5 mg every 3 days as tolerated.
Maintenance dose: usually 20 mg three times daily.
Maximum dose: 80 mg/day (20 mg four times daily).
Children ≥12 years: similar titration schedule; safety not established for younger children.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to baclofen.
Severe renal impairment (use caution).

Precautions:

May cause sedation, dizziness, or impaired coordination; caution with driving or operating machinery.
Abrupt withdrawal may cause hallucinations, seizures, or high fever.
Use with caution in patients with psychiatric disorders, epilepsy, kidney disease, or cardiovascular conditions.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Common: drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, headache, nausea.
Less common: confusion, hypotension, insomnia.
Rare but serious: hallucinations, seizures, respiratory depression.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Limited data; use only if benefits outweigh risks.
Excreted in breast milk; caution advised.

Storage Conditions: 

Store at room temperature (20–25 °C), in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.

Carton containing 2 strips with 10 tablets each.
