Methorelax is a combination drug with muscle relaxant and analgesic effects. It is used for pain syndrome caused by muscle spasms, injuries, or inflammatory conditions of the musculoskeletal system. It effectively reduces pain and improves mobility.
Composition:
• Methocarbamol – a centrally acting muscle relaxant that relieves muscle spasms
• Paracetamol – an analgesic and antipyretic that blocks pain impulses in the central nervous system.
Pharmacological properties:
• Methocarbamol acts on the central nervous system, reducing muscle tone and spasticity
• Paracetamol increases the pain threshold and reduces fever and inflammation
• Combined use enhances the analgesic effect in muscle-related diseases and injuries.
Indications for use:
• Muscle spasms of various origins
• Injuries to muscles, ligaments, and joints
• Pain in the back, neck, and shoulders
• Myalgia, lumbago
• Osteochondrosis, radiculitis
• Recovery after orthopedic surgeries or injuries.
Dosage and administration:
• Adults: 1–2 tablets 3–4 times daily, depending on symptom severity
• Tablets should be taken after meals with a sufficient amount of water
• Maximum daily dose: no more than 8 tablets.
