Lornoxicam 8 mg is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) intended for injection. It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in both acute and chronic conditions.

Pharmacological properties:

Lornoxicam belongs to the oxicam class. It has strong analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis through the blockade of the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme.

Indications for use:

• Acute pain of various origins
• Post-traumatic or postoperative pain
• Arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis
• Rheumatic diseases
• Radiculopathy, lumbago, sciatica.

Dosage and administration:

• Administered intramuscularly (IM) or intravenously (IV)
• Single dose: 8 mg, adjustable as prescribed by a physician
