Composition:

Each softgel contains:

Diclofenac epolamine – 65mg (which corresponds to the content of pure diclofenac 50mg).

Properties:

Diclofenac belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, antiinflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications:

rheumatic inflammatory and degenerative diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, arthrosis, non-articular rheumatism, inflammatory pain of nonrheumatic origin or as a result of trauma. Treatment of menstrual pain.

Mode of application:

for oral administration, the capsules should be taken whole, with liquid, during or after meals. Initial daily dose: 100-150 mg, divided into 2-3 doses. For less severe cases, as well as for long-term treatment, 50-100 mg daily is usually sufficient. For menstrual pain, the daily dose is 50-150 mg. The initial dose is 50-100 mg, if necessary, increase it for severe menstrual pain, up to a maximum of 150 mg per day. Treatment should begin when symptoms appear and continue for several days, depending on the symptoms.

Contraindications:

children under 14 years old; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, aspirin; severe heart, hepatic, renal failure, severe arterial hypotension; stomach bleeding; period of pregnancy, lactation.

Precautions:

with the development of liver diseases, the drug should be discontinued. Patients with disorders of the heart and blood vessels du therapy should be under the supervision of physician. Weak and elderly patients, patients with low body weight should use the minimum

therapeutically effective dose. Before prescribing the medication, it is necessary to undergo a clinical examination for patients with peptic ulcers; with a history of intestinal bleeding; with liver and kidney damage, including a history; with high blood pressure. With asthma, hay fever, acute and chronic respiratory pathologies, in patients with polyps in the nose, taking the drug can cause asthmatic attacks. Treatment of these conditions is symptomatic.

Side effects:

nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, abdominal pain; allergic manifestations such as skin redness, itching, swelling; headache, agitation, irritability, insomnia, asthenia, dizziness, convulsions, disturbances of the senses or vision, tinnitus. Sometimes, during long-term treatment, kidney failure, jaundice, hair loss may occur.
