Flexofan 20 capsules

Composition:

• Chlorzoxazone — 250 mg
• Ketoprofen — 12.5 mg.

Flexofan is a combination drug with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxant properties. It is used for muscle, joint, and spinal pain, especially when the pain is accompanied by muscle spasm.

Pharmacological properties:

• Chlorzoxazone acts on the spinal cord by suppressing neuronal activity related to muscle spasm
• Ketoprofen inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing prostaglandin production, which helps relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation
• The combination of components enhances the overall analgesic and muscle-relaxing effect.

Indications for use:

• Myalgia (muscle pain)
• Skeletal muscle spasms
• Back and neck pain (e.g., lumbago, cervicalgia)
• Osteochondrosis, radiculopathies
• Sports injuries, sprains, bruises.

Dosage and administration:

Adults are usually prescribed 1 tablet 2–3 times a day after meals to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
The course of treatment is 5–7 days and may be extended by a doctor if necessary.
The tablet should be swallowed whole with water, without chewing.
