Composition:
Each tablet contains Bumetanide 1 mg.
Product Description:
Edemex is a loop diuretic preparation used to treat fluid retention (edema) associated with heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disorders.
It contains bumetanide, which increases urine output by inhibiting sodium and chloride reabsorption in the loop of Henle.
Indications for Use:
Edemex is indicated for the treatment of edema due to congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and renal disease, including nephrotic syndrome.
It may also be used in the management of hypertension.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
The preparation is administered orally.
Dosage is individualized depending on the patient’s condition and response.
Tablets are usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Contraindications:
Edemex must not be used in patients with anuria, severe electrolyte depletion, or hypersensitivity to bumetanide or sulfonamides.
Precautions:
Caution is advised in patients with diabetes, gout, or hepatic impairment. Regular monitoring of electrolytes and renal function is required.
Adverse Reactions:
Possible side effects include dehydration, electrolyte imbalance (hypokalemia, hyponatremia), dizziness, hypotension, and gastrointestinal upset.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Use only if clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician.
Safety in pregnancy and lactation has not been fully established.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from moisture and light.
Keep out of reach of children.
