Doliprane 1000 mg 15 tablets

Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Paracetamol - 1000 mg.
Excipients: Povidone K30, pregelatinized maize starch, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, talc.
Description:
Analgesic and antipyretic.
Used for relief of pain of various origins (headache, toothache, muscle, joint, menstrual pain) and to reduce fever associated with infections or vaccination.
Rapidly absorbed and gentle on the gastrointestinal tract.
Indications for Use:
For symptomatic treatment of conditions requiring an analgesic and/or antipyretic:
- Symptoms associated with flu or fever due to infection
- Fever following vaccination
- Headaches and migraines
- Toothache, earache
- Menstrual pain
- Traumatic, muscle, joint, or osteoarthritic pain
- Pain before or after surgical procedures.
Dosage and Method of Administration:
For oral use in adults aged 18 and above.
Usual dose: 1 tablet 2-4 times daily.
Interval between doses: 4-8 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 4 tablets (4 g paracetamol/day).
Method of administration:
Tablets may be swallowed whole.
Taking the tablet after meals may delay onset of action.
Do not use for more than a few days without medical advice.
Do not take with other products containing paracetamol.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any excipient.
- Severe hepatic disease.
Precautions:
- Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, may occur.
- Cases of hepatic necrosis reported with high doses.
Use with caution in:
- Hepatic impairment (e.g., chronic alcoholism, hepatitis).
- Renal impairment.
- Gilbert’s syndrome.
- Chronic dehydration or malnutrition.
- Do not exceed 4 tablets per day.
- Long-term use can cause renal alterations.
- Chronic or inappropriate use at high doses can induce headaches.
- Do not use for more than 10 days without medical supervision.
- If high fever (>39°C) lasts >3 days or recurs, seek medical advice.
- Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
Side Effects:
Very rare: Haematopoietic disorders (thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, pancytopenia).
Common: Mild drowsiness.
Uncommon: Dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, Pharyngeal burning sensation, Diarrhoea, abdominal pain (including cramps, burning), constipation, Headache, sweating, hypothermia.
Rare: Erythema.
Very rare: Allergic reactions; aggravated hypersensitivity (angioedema, dyspnoea, excessive sweating, nausea, hypotension, shock), Bronchospasm in predisposed patients.
Long-term use: Analgesic nephropathy, including papillary necrosis, may occur.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Paracetamol is generally considered safe during pregnancy after a careful risk-benefit evaluation.
It is excreted into breast milk in clinically insignificant amounts; breastfeeding usually does not need to be discontinued.
Storage Conditions:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
