Composition:
Each 1 g of ointment contains:
- Betamethasone Dipropionate (equivalent to 0.5 mg Betamethasone) - 0.64 mg
- Salicylic Acid - 30 mgInactive ingredients: white petrolatum, mineral oil.
Description:
Diprosalic is a topical combination preparation providing strong anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and keratolytic effects.
Betamethasone rapidly reduces inflammation, itching, redness, and swelling of the skin.
Salicylic acid gently removes thickened, scaly skin and enhances the penetration and effectiveness of betamethasone.
Due to the combination of its active ingredients, the ointment:
- Relieve inflammation and itching in chronic skin conditions;
- Promote exfoliation and renewal of the epidermis;
- Improve skin texture and healing;
- Prevent secondary infection and irritation.
Indications for Use:
- Psoriasis (including hyperkeratotic and scaly forms);
- Atopic, seborrheic, contact, or chronic dermatitis;
- Eczema of various origins;
- Lichen and other hyperkeratotic dermatoses.
Directions for Use:
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1-2 times daily (morning and evening) and rub in gently.
Reduce frequency as improvement occurs.
Do not use under occlusive dressings.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to betamethasone, salicylic acid, or excipients;
- Viral, fungal, or tuberculous skin infections;
- Open wounds, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis;
- Children under 2 years old.
Precautions:
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply for prolonged periods or to large body areas without medical advice.
- Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit outweighs the risk.
Side Effects:
Local: burning, itching, irritation, dryness, skin thinning, striae.
Systemic: adrenal suppression or hypercorticism with excessive or prolonged use.
Storage Conditions:
Store below 30 °C, protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
