Brexin is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug from the NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) group
It is used to treat inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by pain, swelling and impaired mobility.

Composition:

• Active ingredient: Piroxicam β-cyclodextrin - 191.2 mg (equivalent to piroxicam 20 mg)

Pharmacological properties:

Brexin contains piroxicam, which has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect.
The formula with β-cyclodextrin increases the solubility and bioavailability of piroxicam, providing a faster onset of action and better tolerability from the gastrointestinal tract compared to conventional forms.
Piroxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase activity (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins - substances involved in inflammation, pain and fever.

Indications for use:

• Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis
• Back pain, muscle and joint pain
• Inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system
• Injuries and postoperative pain

Method of administration and dosage:

• Adults: 1 tablet (20 mg) 1 time per day after meals, with a sufficient amount of water.
• The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually depending on the patient's condition.
