Properties:
NSAlDs. Celecoxib has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis; pain syndrome: back pain, musculoskeletal, postoperative and other types of pain.
Mode of application:
Inside, regardless of food intake, without chewing, drinking water. The drug should be prescribed in the shortest possible courses and in the lowest effective doses. The maximum recommended daily dose for long-term use is 400 mg. Osteoarthritis: 200 mg once a day or in 2 divided doses. Rheumatoid arthritis: 200 mg 2 times / day. Ankylosing spondylitis: 2 mg once a day or in 2 divided doses. In so patients, the effectiveness of using the drug at a dose of 400 mg 2 times / day was noted. In the treatment of pain syndrome, the recommended starting dose is 400 mg, followed, if necessary, by taking an additional dose of 200 mg on day 1. On the following days, the recommended dose is 200 mg 2 times / day, as needed.
Childhood; hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, to sulfonamides; bronchial asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAlDs; after coronary artery bypass surgery; peptic ulcer in the acute phase; gastrointestinal bleeding; severe hepatic and renal impairment; pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions:
May cause severe allergic reactions: facial swelling, asthma, shock, skin redness, rash, blisters; especially in people who are allergic to aspirin. In this case, you should stop taking the drug. Use with caution in patients with phenylketonuria, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases (risk of inflammation, bleeding, ulceration and perforation of the stomach or intestines). Consult a specialist before use. Do not use before or after heart surgery.
Side effects:
Abdominal pain, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, peripheral edema, trauma, dizziness, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections, rash.
