Properties:
Algazon cream contains the following ingredients: diethylamine salicylate, menthol and camphor. Diethylamine salicylate is a local analgesic with anti-inflammatory and irritant properties. Menthol relieves itching, dilates blood vessels, causing a feeling of cold, followed by an analgesic effect. Camphor acts as a mild analgesic and is used as an anti-inflammatory agent.
Indications:
to relieve symptoms of muscle pain, including fibrositis, sciatica, lumbago, sprains, bruises, muscle stiffness. It also relieves overuse pain in athletes.
Mode of application:
Adults (including the elderly) and children over 6 years of age: for external use. Massage the cream on the affected area daily until completely absorbed. Children under 6 years of age: not recommended.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Algazon should not be used if the skin surface is broken. Algazone contains camphor, which can lower the epileptogenic threshold and, in excessive doses, lead to neurological disorders such as seizures in infants and children. Therefore, Algazon should not be used in children who have a history of seizures, hypersensitivity to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including oral administration), especially when it is associated with a history of asthma. If irritation develops, discontinue use of the product.
