Composition:

Each 1 ml of solution contains:

Tioconazole – 280 mg.

Description:

Fungibacid is a topical antifungal nail solution containing 28% Tioconazole, a powerful imidazole antifungal agent. It is formulated as a clear varnish that forms a protective film on the nail surface, allowing deep penetration of the active ingredient. This ensures a targeted and prolonged action against fungal infections of the nails, helping to restore nail structure and prevent recurrence. The solution improves nail density, reduces porosity, and strengthens the nail plate. The product is convenient to apply using the brush integrated inside the cap.

Pharmacological Action:

Tioconazole exhibits both antifungal and antibacterial activity. It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of fungal cell membrane components such as sterols, phospholipids, and triglycerides. This leads to disruption of the fungal cell membrane and prevents the spread of infection to healthy nail tissues. With regular use, Tioconazole penetrates the nail plate and eliminates fungal pathogens, providing a complete cure and reducing the risk of recurrence.

Indications for Use:

Fungal infections of the nails (onychomycosis)

Mixed infections (fungal with bacterial involvement)

Directions for Use:

Wash hands and clean the affected nails thoroughly. Remove any nail polish or decorative coatings.

If needed, file the nail to remove affected layers and degrease the surface.

Apply a thin layer of the solution evenly over the affected nail using the brush provided.

Use twice daily, with a 12-hour interval between applications.

Continue the treatment for 3 to 5 months or as recommended by a healthcare provider.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Tioconazole or any component of the formulation.
