Elderly patients:
A similar dosing regimen was used in elderly patients with breast cancer, and in some patients as monotherapy.
Anovulatory infertility.
Before prescribing a course of therapy, initiating or subsequent, it is necessary to exclude a possible pregnancy. For women with a regular but anovulatory menstrual cycle, the initiation dose is 20 mg per day, given on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th day of the menstrual cycle. In case of unsatisfactory basal temperature or insufficiency of pre-ovulatory cervical mucus, a subsequent course of treatment may be prescribed during further menstrual cycles with an increase in the do to 40, and then to 80 mg per day.
In women with regular menstrual cycles, treatment initiation may occur on any day of the cycle. In the absence of signs of ovulation, the subsequent course of treatment can be started 45 days after the completion of the previous treatment with an increase in the dose as described above.
