Composition:
Risperidone 4 mg.
Product Description:
Riscure 4 mg is an atypical antipsychotic medication containing risperidone as its active ingredient.
Indications for Use:
Riscure is used for:
Treatment of sudden (acute) and long-term (chronic) schizophrenia and other types of related psychoses.
These are disorders related to thought, feeling and/or action.
Short term treatment of acute mania associated with bipolar 1 disorder;
Short term treatment of behavioral problems in patients with a decline in mental ability (dementia);
Other disruptive disorders such as aggression, impulsiveness and self-injury in adults, adolescents and children aged over 5 years old who are intellectually disabled;
Certain behaviours seen in children and adolescents with autism.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
Depending on the case to be prescribed by the specialist.
Contraindications:
Known hypersensitivity to risperidone or any inactive ingredients in the formulation. 
Narrow-angle glaucoma due to the increased risk of worsening the condition. 
Pregnancy and breastfeeding unless necessary, as the risks and benefits should be discussed with a doctor.
Dementia-related psychosis due to the increased risk of death.
