Composition:

400 mg Lithium carbonate (controlled release formulation) per tablet.

Product Description: 

Prianil C-R is a mood stabilizer containing lithium carbonate in a controlled release form.
It is widely used in psychiatry for the management of bipolar disorder, helping to reduce the frequency and severity of manic and depressive episodes.

Indications for Use: 

Recommended for treatment and prophylaxis of bipolar disorder, mania, and recurrent depressive episodes.

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Dosage is individualized by a physician based on serum lithium levels and clinical response.
Tablets should be swallowed whole.

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity to lithium, severe renal or cardiovascular disease, untreated hypothyroidism, pregnancy.

Precautions: 

Requires regular monitoring of serum lithium levels, renal and thyroid function.
Avoid dehydration and maintain consistent salt intake.
