Ketoconazole 20 mg/ gm

Properties:

Ketoconazole is a broad-spectrum drug that is effective against many fungal species.

It works by inhibiting the production of ergosterol, an organic molecule found in fungus and yeast. This inhibits the fungus and yeast from making normal cell membranes. When the cell membranes are compromised, the growth and reproduction of both organisms are hindered.

Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo not only treats and prevents dandruff, but also the inflammation associated with dandruff, relieving scalp redness and itching. Its targeted action specifically treats the underlying cause of dandruff, also it is pleasantly gentle to your hair and odour free. Suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years.

Dandruff

Seborrheic dermatitis

Psoriasis

Directions for use: 

1. Wet hair. 
2. Apply a small amount to the scalp. Work into a lather. 
3. For best results leave on the scalp for 3-5 minutes. 
4. Rinse thoroughly. For the first 2 to 4 weeks: use 3 or 4 days to clear dandruff. Thereafter: use once every 1 or 2 weeks to prevent the dandruff from coming back.

scalp pustules, rash,

oiliness and dryness of hair and scalp

Warnings and precautions:

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes and oral intake.

If any irritation occurs, immediately discontinue use.
