 Lidocaine spray

Each 100 g of spray contains:

Lidocaine 10 g

Auxiliary components:

Cetylpyridinium chloride, Menthol, eucalyptus, propylene glycol, ethyl alcohol 96%.

Local anesthetic for surface anesthesia. The action is due to the blockade of voltage-dependent sodium channels, which prevents the generation of impulses at the endings of the sensory nerves and the conduction of pain impulses along the nerve fibers.

When applied topically, it dilates blood vessels, does not have a local irritating effect. Has an analgesic effect.

For terminal (surface) anesthesia of mucous membranes: in dentistry, in otorhinolaryngology, in obstetrics and gynecology, in instrumental and endoscopic examinations, in surgery and dermatology, X-ray examination (elimination of nausea and pharyngeal reflex).

Apply topically, externally. The dose depends on the indications and the area of ​​the anesthetic surface.

– Sick sinus syndrome.

– Severe bradycardia.

-Atrioventricular block 2 and 3 degrees (except when a probe is inserted to stimulate the ventricles).

-Cardiogenic shock.

-Myasthenia.

– Increased individual sensitivity to lidocaine.

– History of lidocaine-induced epileptiform seizures.

– Severe liver dysfunction.

Precautionary measures:

Aerosol is contraindicated when using gypsum as an impression material in dentistry due to the risk of aspiration.

-Headache;

-dizziness;

– numbness of the tongue and oral mucosa;

-decrease in blood pressure;

-reduction of heart rate;

– a burning sensation at the moment the aerosol enters the anesthetic surface (it stops a few seconds after the onset of anesthesia).

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
