Inactive ingredients:

Colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, maize starch, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, talc powder, polyethylene glycol.

Properties:

Sildenafil is a potent selective inhibitor of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).

The implementation of the physiological mechanism of erection is associated with the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the cavernous body during sexual stimulation. This, in turn, leads to an increase in the level of cGMP, subsequent relaxation of the smooth muscle tissue of the cavernous body and an increase in blood flow.

Sildenafil does not have a direct relaxing effect on the isolated human corpus cavernosum, but enhances the effect of NO through inhibition of PDE5, which is responsible for the breakdown of cGMP.

A prerequisite for the effectiveness of sildenafil is sexual stimulation. Sildenafil restores impaired erectile function under conditions of sexual stimulation by increasing blood flow to the cavernous bodies of the penis.

Indications:

– treatment of erectile dysfunction, characterized by an inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis sufficient for satisfactory intercourse.

Dosage and administration:

The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. Compliance of the dosage form of a particular drug with indications for use and dosing regimen should be strictly observed.Treatment of erectile dysfunction: taken orally approximately 1 hour before the planned sexual activity. A single dose is 50 mg. Based on efficacy and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 100 mg or reduced to 25 mg. The maximum single dose is 100 mg. The maximum frequency of application is 1 time / day. For elderly patients over the age of 65 years and with concomitant impaired renal or hepatic function, the dose is 25 mg.

Side effects:

From the side of the central nervous system: headache, hot flashes, dizziness, insomnia are possible.

Contraindications:
