Castor oil,  essential peppermint oil steam distilled (0.001%)

Properties:

-Castor oil is used to treat constipation. It may also be used to clean out the intestines before a bowel examination or surgery. Castor oil is known as a stimulant laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, helping the stool to come out.

It also helps detox your lymph and creates a healing response that decreases the abdominal pain associated with constipation and strain of bowel movements.

-Peppermint Oil is very versatile in the treatment of intestinal issues in general – it can be used in the treatment of intestinal infections, IBS, chronic functional abdominal pain (CFAP) and inflammatory bowel diseases. It also helps in the relief of chronic constipation.

Directions for use:

-Dosage for adults: 15ml

-For children aged 6 to 10 years old: 5-10ml

-Children younger than 6 years of age should not take castor oil.

-Always talk to a pediatrician before giving castor oil to children between the ages of 6 and 10 years to make sure it is safe.

-Castor oil normally causes a bowel movement to occur in 2 to 3 hours. However, it may take up to 6 hours to work for some people.

-Due to the delayed effects of castor oil, avoid taking it before bedtime.
