Composition:

Each Flunzapine 12/50 mg capsule contains:
•  Fluoxetine — 12 mg
•  Olanzapine — 50 mg

Pharmacological properties:

1. Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI):
Increases serotonin levels in synapses
Has antidepressant and anxiolytic effects
2. Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic:
Blocks dopamine (D₂) and serotonin (5-HT₂) receptors
Reduces manic symptoms, agitation, hallucinations and delusions

Indications for use:

Treatment of depressive episodes in bipolar disorder
Treatment of resistant depression in patients who have not responded to therapy antidepressants in monotherapy

Method of administration and dosage:

Taken orally, usually 1 capsule per day, regardless of food intake
The dosage can be changed by the doctor depending on the patient's condition
Not recommended for self-administration - requires supervision of a psychiatrist
