Composition: 

Each tablet contains Levothyroxine Sodium 75 mcg. 

Product Description: 

Equithera is a hormonal preparation used for thyroid hormone replacement therapy.
It contains levothyroxine sodium, a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4), indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism and other thyroid-related conditions. 

Indications for Use: 

Equithera is indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism, prevention of goiter recurrence, and as adjunct therapy in thyroid cancer management. 

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

The preparation is administered orally.
Dosage is individualized based on patient’s age, weight, and thyroid function tests.
Tablets should be taken once daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach. 

Contraindications: 

Equithera must not be used in patients with untreated thyrotoxicosis, acute myocardial infarction, or hypersensitivity to levothyroxine or excipients. 

Precautions: 

Caution is advised in patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, or adrenal insufficiency.
Regular monitoring of thyroid function is required. 

Adverse Reactions: 

Possible side effects include palpitations, insomnia, weight loss, tremors, and headache.
Overdose may cause symptoms of hyperthyroidism. 

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Equithera may be used during pregnancy and lactation under medical supervision.
Dosage adjustments may be necessary. 

Storage Conditions: 

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from moisture and light.
Keep out of reach of children.
