Composition:
Sulpiride - 200 mg in each tablet.
Pharmacological properties:
Class:
Atypical antipsychotic, benzamide derivative.
Mechanism of action:
Blocks dopamine D2 receptors (mainly in the limbic system), improves mental state in schizophrenia.
In low doses, it has an antidepressant and anxiolytic effect (reduces anxiety).
In high doses, it has a pronounced antipsychotic effect.
Indications for use:
Schizophrenia (especially with apathy, detachment)
Acute and chronic psychoses
Anxiety disorders (in small doses).
Psychosomatic disorders, including:
Functional gastrointestinal disorders
Headaches, autonomic dysfunctions.
Method of administration and dosage:
For psychoses:
Usual dose: from 400 to 800 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses.
In severe cases - up to 1200 mg / day, as prescribed by a doctor.
For anxiety or depression:
Low doses: 50-150 mg / day.
Method of administration:
Take orally with water.
It is important to take at the same time every day.
The course and dosage are selected by the doctor individually.
Childhood (under 14 years - contraindicated).
