Composition:
Each 5 ml of syrup contains: Cetirizine dihydrochloride – 5 mg.
Auxiliary components: glycerin, sorbitol 70%, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium saccharin, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, flavor.
Properties:
Cetirizine dihydrochloride is a histamine antagonist, a metabolite of hydroxyzine, and blocks HI-histamine receptors. Prevents the development and facilitates the course of allergic reactions, has antipruritic and antiexudative action. Reduces capillary permeability, prevents the development of tissue edema, relieves spasm of smooth muscles. In therapeutic doses, it practically does not cause sedation.
Indications:
for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. For the treatment of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Mode of application:
children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml of syrup 2
times a day (half a teaspoon 2 times a day). Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 ml of syrup (full teaspoon, 2 times a day). Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 ml of syrup (2 teaspoons).
Contraindications:
children under 2 years old; hypersensitivity to the active substance, any of the other components in the composition, to hydroxyzine or any piperazine derivatives. Patients with severe renal impairment. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions:
The syrup contains sodium saccharin and should therefore not be used in patients with liver disease. Caution should be exercised in patients with predisposing factors of urinary retention (eg, spinal cord injury, prostatic hyperplasia), since cetirizine may increase the risk of urinary retention. Caution is recommended in patients with epilepsy and in patients at risk of seizures.
Side effects:
insignificant effect on the central nervous system – drowsiness, dizziness, headache, fatigue; difficulty urinating, dry mouth, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, increased appetite.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, out of reach of children.

the cardboard box contains a brown plastic bottle with a volume of 120 ml of syrup, paper instructions.
