Composition:

Hydroxocobalamin (Vitamin B12) — 1 mg.
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) — 20 mg.
Folic acid — 1 mg.
Each ampoule contains 2 ml of solution.

Product Description:

Solution for intramuscular injections containing a prolonged‑release form of Vitamin B12 in combination with Vitamin B6 and folic acid.
The drug replenishes the deficiency of B‑group vitamins, promotes normal hematopoiesis, improves nervous system function, and prevents the development of megaloblastic anemia.

Indications for use:

Deficiency of Vitamin B12, B6, and folic acid.
Megaloblastic anemia.
Polyneuropathies and neurological disorders.
Conditions of increased need for vitamins (pregnancy, lactation, chronic diseases, chemo‑ and radiotherapy).
Malabsorption syndromes and conditions after gastric or intestinal resection.

Method of administration and dosage:

The drug is administered only intramuscularly.
Recommended dose: 1–2 ampoules per week.
The treatment course usually lasts 4 weeks (8 injections), or as prescribed by a physician.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Isolated deficiency of Vitamin B12 or folic acid.
Allergic reactions to B‑group vitamins.
Inflammatory changes at the injection site.

Precautions:

Use only under medical supervision.
Administer with caution to patients with epilepsy and during concomitant use of anticonvulsant drugs.
Inform the physician about all medications being taken (possible interactions with levodopa, isoniazid, cyclosporine, folic acid antagonists).

Adverse reaction / Side effects:

Rare — allergic reactions (rash, itching, anaphylaxis).
Local reactions at the injection site (pain, redness).
Possible dizziness, nausea.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Use is possible only as prescribed by a physician.
Folic acid and Vitamin B12 are necessary for normal fetal development, but the dosage must be determined individually.

Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Protect from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
