Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Chlorfenoxamine hydrochloride 20 mg.
Properties:
Allergex (Chlorfenoxamine) is an antihistamine with sedative properties.
Allergex provides symptomatic relief of allergic conditions and skin disorders; the effect of the drug begins within 30 minutes after ingestion and lasts for several hours.
Indications:
Sensitization, vozomotor rhinitis, urticaria, serum sickness, angioedema, insect bites.
Dosage and administration:
1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day.
Warnings and precautions:
Like other antihistamines, it can cause drowsiness, therefore people responsible for vehicles or machinery should be warned accordingly. Allergex can enhance the sedative effect of nervous system depressants, including barbiturates, sleeping pills, narcotic analgesics, sedatives and tranquilizers.
Contraindications:
Like other antihistamines with anticholinergic properties, Allergex should not be prescribed to patients with glaucoma or prostate diseases.
Side effects:
Particularly sensitive patients may experience drowsiness, lethargy, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth.
Package:
The carton box contains 2 blisters of 10 tablets each.
Storage:
Keep medicines out of the reach of children, in a dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
