Sigma Group is an Egyptian pharmaceutical company founded in 1997, with commercial operations beginning in 2001. The company’s headquarters is located in the Mubarak 1 industrial zone in Quesna, approximately 80 km from Cairo. The main manufacturing facility covers an area of about 14,500 m², which is fully utilized with no room for further expansion. To meet increasing demand, a new plant — Sigmatec — was built in the 6th of October industrial zone, covering around 60,000 m², of which 30,000 m² are currently in use, while the remaining space is reserved for future expansion.

Sigma Group ranks 9th among Egypt’s leading pharmaceutical companies, holding a 2.5% market share and achieving sales of 533 million EGP out of a total market value of 21.5 billion EGP.

The company manufactures a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs, antidiarrheals, vitamins, and pediatric medications. Some of its well-known brands include Aciloc, Balsam, Alvital, Calma Baby, Congestal, Contramal, Clindam, and Depolvix.
