Composition:

Each 5 ml contains:

Thiemonium methyl sulfate 10 mg

Auxiliary components:

Sucrose, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, glycerol, strawberry flavor, ethanol, purified water.

Properties:

Thiemonium is an antispasmodic agent that has the following effects:

• Anticholinergic (1/50 of the effect of atropine at an identical molar concentration).

Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of acute pain associated with functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system.

• Treatment of spasm and pain in the urinary tract and gynecological diseases.
• Symptomatic treatment of renal colic.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults:

1-3 tablespoons per day.

Children:

3 teaspoons a day.

Contraindications:

Urethroprostatic disorders associated with the risk of urinary retention.

Risk of angle-closure glaucoma.

Side effects:

Symptoms: the appearance of an atropine-like effect: dry mouth, constipation, tachycardia and confusion in elderly patients.

Treatment: symptomatic treatment in the intensive care unit.

Storage method:

At a temperature not higher than 25 degrees.
