Composition:
• Trospium chloride 20 mg per tablet.

Trospamexin is an antispasmodic agent used for urinary disorders. It is prescribed for the treatment of overactive bladder and other conditions characterized by frequent or urgent urination. It has both antispasmodic and antisecretory effects.

Pharmacological properties:
Trospium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound with anticholinergic activity. It blocks muscarinic receptors in the bladder wall, reducing bladder contractions and decreasing urgency. It does not cross the blood-brain barrier, which helps minimize central nervous system side effects.

Indications for use:
• Overactive bladder
• Frequent and/or urgent urination
• Urinary incontinence
• Neurogenic bladder disorders

Dosage and administration:
• Typically: 20 mg (1 tablet) twice a day, 1 hour before meals.
• Dose adjustment may be necessary in cases of renal impairment.
• The duration of treatment depends on the clinical picture and is often several weeks or months.

Organic causes of the symptoms should be ruled out before starting treatment.
