Composition:

Each tablet contains:

Clomiphene Citrate 50 mg

Inactive ingredients:

Starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, sucrose.

Properties:

Stimulator of production of gonadotropins. Means with antiestrogenic and estrogenic activity. It has a non-steroidal structure, which is close to chlorotrianisene. It is believed that the action of clomiphene is due to specific binding to the estrogen receptors of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which increases the secretion of gonadotropic hormones from the pituitary gland. This in turn stimulates the maturation and endocrine activity of the follicle in the ovary, as well as the subsequent formation and stimulation of the function of the corpus luteum. In high doses, it inhibits the secretion of gonadotropins. It does not have gestagenic and androgenic activity.

Indications:

Anovulatory infertility (ovulation induction); amenorrhea (dys-gonadotropic form), secondary amenorrhea, post-contraceptive amenorrhea; Stein-Leventhal syndrome (polycystic ovary syndrome); oligomenorrhea; galactorrhea (against the background of a pituitary tumor); Chiari-Frommel syndrome (syndrome of prolonged postpartum amenorrhea-galactorrhea); androgen deficiency; in men – oligospermia.

Dosage and administration:

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to clomiphene; hepatic and / or renal failure; pregnancy, lactation (breastfeeding); ovarian cyst (with the exception of polycystic ovary syndrome); tumor or hypofunction of the pituitary gland; dysfunction of the thyroid gland or adrenal glands; metrorrhagia of unknown etiology; long-term or recently developed visual impairment; neoplasms of the genital organs; endometriosis; ovarian insufficiency against the background of hyperprolactinemia.

Allergic reactions: rarely – rash, urticaria, allergic dermatitis, vasomotor disorders.
