Composition (per 1 tablet): 

Quetiapine fumarate – 300 mg. Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. 

Description: 

Quitapex is an antipsychotic medication (atypical neuroleptic) containing quetiapine, which modulates neurotransmitter balance in the brain. It is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, depression, and manic episodes. It helps stabilize mood, reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and enhance cognitive functions. 

Properties: 

Balances dopamine and serotonin activity. 
Reduces hallucinations and delusional thinking. 
Stabilizes mood and decreases swings in bipolar disorder. 
Has a sedative effect and improves sleep quality. 
Suitable for long-term therapy under medical supervision. 

Indications for Use: 

Schizophrenia. 
Bipolar affective disorder (manic and depressive episodes). 
Resistant depression (as part of combination therapy). 
Prevention of relapses in chronic psychiatric conditions. 

Method of Application: 

Adults: initial dose is usually 50 mg on day 1, gradually increasing. 
Maintenance dose for schizophrenia and bipolar disorders may range from 300–600 mg daily, either in divided doses or once daily, depending on patient condition. 
Swallow tablets whole with sufficient water, regardless of meals. 
Dosage should be determined individually by a healthcare professional.
