Coversyl 5 mg 30 tablets

Composition:

Perindopril arginine 5 mg

Description: 

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.
Reduces formation of angiotensin II, lowers vascular resistance, and decreases blood pressure.
Indicated for hypertension and cardiovascular disease management.

Indications for Use:

Arterial hypertension.
Chronic heart failure.
Ischemic heart disease (prevention of recurrent cardiovascular events).

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Film-coated tablets for oral use.
Typical dose: 5 mg once daily.
Dosage adjusted by physician according to patient’s condition.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to perindopril or other ACE inhibitors.
History of angioedema.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Severe renal impairment.

Precautions:

Monitor renal function and potassium levels.
Use with caution in renal artery stenosis.
First-dose hypotension may occur, especially in hypovolemic patients.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Common: cough, headache, dizziness, fatigue.
Rare: angioedema, hyperkalemia, renal impairment.

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Contraindicated.
May cause fetal harm.
