Conjyclear eye drops 5 ml

Compound:

Each 1 ml drops contains:

  • Olopatadine 1 mg.
  • Auxiliary components:
disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.

Properties:

  • Olopatadine is a potent, selective antiallergic/antihistamine agent with several distinct mechanisms of action.
  • It counteracts the release of histamine (the main mediator of allergic reactions in humans) and prevents the stimulation of cytokine production by human conjunctival epithelial cells, which is caused by histamine.
  • Data from in vitro studies indicate that the drug acts on mast cells of the human conjunctiva, inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators.
  • It has been noted that topical ophthalmic use of the drug in patients with preserved nasolacrimal duct patency reduces the nasal signs and symptoms that often accompany seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
  • The drug does not cause clinically significant changes in pupil diameter.

Indications:

Treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.

Dosage and administration:

Buried in the conjunctival sac 1-2 times / day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to olopatadine.

Precautionary measures:

  • Sufficient experience of use in children under the age of 3 years is not available.
  • Can be used in children aged 3 years and older at the same doses as in adults.
  • Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms:
If the patient’s visual clarity is temporarily reduced after the use of olopatadine, then it is not recommended to drive a car and engage in other activities that require a high concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions until it is restored.
