Inactive ingredients:

corn starch, povidone, talc, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, macrogol 6000, soluble povidone.

Properties:

Combined drug. Provides a complete supply of essential amino acids with minimal nitrogen intake. Ketone analogues of amino acids in the body are enzymatically transaminated into the corresponding L-amino acids, while splitting urea. Promotes the utilization of nitrogen-containing metabolic products, protein anabolism while reducing the concentration of urea in serum. Improves nitrogen metabolism. Reduces the concentration of potassium, magnesium and phosphate ions in the blood.

With the systematic use of this drug, an improvement in the condition of patients with chronic renal failure was noted. In some cases, it is possible to delay the start of dialysis.

Indications:

Protein-energy malnutrition, prevention and treatment of disorders caused by altered protein metabolism in chronic renal failure and protein restriction in the diet (in adults and children aged 3 years and older).

Primarily for patients with GFR <25 ml/min, which does not exclude the use of GFR ≥25 ml/min.

Dosage and administration:

Orally 3 times / day during meals.

Adults and children aged 3 years and older are prescribed 1 tablet / 5 kg body weight / day or 100 mg / kg body weight / day. For adults weighing 70 kg, the dose is usually 4-8 tabs/3 times / day.

Apply during the entire period when the GFR is less than 25 ml / min.

Contraindications:

hypercalcemia; violation of amino acid metabolism; hypersensitivity to the components that make up the dosage form of the drug used.

In hereditary phenylketonuria, it should be borne in mind that the dosage form of the drug used may contain phenylalanine.

Warnings and precautions:

In hypercalcemia, it is recommended to reduce the dose of vitamin D taken. If hypercalcemia persists, then the dose of this drug, as well as other sources of calcium, should be reduced.

It is necessary to regularly monitor the calcium content and control the decrease in the level of phosphates in the blood serum.

To improve its absorption and conversion into the appropriate amino acids, this drug should be taken with food.

It is required to provide sufficient caloric content of food.
