Description:

Canephron Uno is a herbal medicinal product used to treat acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections with symptoms such as frequent urination, burning during urination, and increased urge to urinate. It also promotes flushing of the urinary tract to reduce the deposition of renal gravel.

Properties:

-Relieves symptoms of lower urinary tract infections, including frequent urination, burning sensation, and increased urge to urinate.

-Supports flushing of the urinary tract to prevent the formation of renal gravel.

-Herbal composition with a favorable safety profile.

Indications for Use:

-Acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections.

-To aid flushing of the urinary tract and reduce renal gravel deposition.

Directions for Use:

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above: 1 coated tablet 3 times daily.

Canephron Uno coated tablets should be swallowed whole (not chewed) with a sufficient amount of liquid, such as a glass of water.

-Ample liquid intake during treatment supports the therapeutic effect.

-If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

-Self-medication should not exceed 2 weeks.

Contraindications:

-Hypersensitivity to the active substances, other plants of the Apiaceae (Umbelliferae) family, anethole, or any of the other ingredients.

-Peptic ulcer.

-Oedema due to impaired heart or kidney function if reduced fluid intake has been recommended.

Precautions:

-Immediate medical consultation is required if fever persists, lower abdominal pain, blood in urine, urination disorders, or acute urinary retention occur.

-Not suitable for patients with rare hereditary problems such as fructose intolerance, galactose malabsorption, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, or total lactase deficiency.

-Not for use in children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

-If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

-The use of Canephron Uno may be considered during pregnancy if deemed necessary by a physician.

-It is unknown whether Canephron Uno or its active substances/metabolites are excreted in human milk; therefore, it should not be used during breastfeeding.

Side Effects:

Common: Gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhoea.

Not known: Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.

At the first sign of hypersensitivity, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Storage Conditions:

Store below 25°C.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Keep blisters in the outer packaging to protect from light and moisture.
